What Virtual Reality games are you playing?

I first tried Half Life Alyx a bit after it came out and its such a shame there hasn't been a VR game with the same depth and polish.

Have you tried Lone Echo 1 & 2 or Asgards Wrath? As they're Meta Store exclusives they often get overlooked. They're at least as polished.

Asgards Wrath 2 is pretty impressive considering it is standalone.
I quite enjoyed Green Hell for a while, although I've always wondered if the PCVR version would have been better.


PCVR:

Contractors has good mechanics, although lacking in a single player story
Walking Dead is impressive (the sequel I'm not so keen on)
Arizona Sunshine (Remake) and the second one are pretty decent
VTOL was enjoyable
Pavlov was good, but it got ruined when moving to UR5

Metro Awakening has a bit of a HL: Alyx Vibe, and is very well done. Arken Age is very polished for an indie game.

I'm continuing my playthrough of Fallout London VR with the Rabbit and Pork DLC. It's a much better experience than the original release, and has a lot of extra content.

The main issue with FO London is it's not very good at pointing you at the right direction to go in. There's a real art to level design to subtly guide the player so they don't get lost, and it sometimes fails at this.

It's a shame they're locked to the Meta PC store and never go on Sale. Lone Echo 1 & 2 in particular are incredible.

You are missing out on some absolutely stunning, and some absolutely terrifying experiences.

I finally got MSFS 2024 working well with the motion rig and flight controllers, just going through the tutorials and career atm

Finally managed to get into Arken Age and make some progress. It's very impressive. Some things seem slightly janky but overall it has a level of graphics, polish and interactivity that's much better than most indie VR games. This is on Steam but I hear the Quest 3 version is very good and well optimised without too many graphical compromises.

Grabbed a golf club adapter and started playing Golf+ over Christmas - it's incredible! Controller has only gone flying once but definitely reignited VR for me.

Looking at getting Iron Rebellion next as it's getting great reviews

Just started playing Bootstrap Island. Seems pretty good so far. A little janky in places but has some very good graphics, and excellent VR mechanics. It's a survival game but it's not as complicated as some others.

My other half just completed Moss and raved about it so thought I'd give it a try.
