To be fair to Spurs, I can't see them finishing anywhere near their previous two season finishes. Firstly, De Zerbi is better than Ange & Frank, secondly, they have a pretty decent squad - especially the midfield. Kudus, Simons, Fernandez, Tonali, Madison. Even Gallagher, Sarr and Bentancur are decent enough squad players.
It's probably their attack that needs work, Richarlison isn't prolific enough, Solanke is too injury prone and Tel isn't a #9.
The defence has been significantly strengthened too with Van Hecke and Senesi joining.
It would be strange to stop there and not sign a striker although I doubt they'll be able to get one the same calibre as their other signings.
Europa League qualification feels like a realistic target now if (and only if) they figure out the injury problems.
