You will love the big bike once you have felt it. A 125 just doesn't cut the mustard for experiencing motorcycling. It is like calling a go on dodgems driving.

Planning to go to SBS shortly as there are a few bits I want, but holy heck it’s hot for being out riding today. Kind of wished I’d ordered it all for delivery and had a day on the drive bonding and fitting it all instead of being out in 30c.
Absolutely love it though, got the first 50 miles done yesterday, such a flickable bike and way faster than I was expecting for an A2 - it just wants to go! Fair bit of ring rust to knock off still after 20 years but it’s so nice to have a bike again.

It’s crazy fun, the steering is so responsive, it immediately falls into corners. I just got it out to go for a ride - came back in 10 minutes because of the heat. It’s just too hot! I don’t have any luggage space anywhere yet (ordered a tail bag today to sort that) so I can’t even really carry any water with me.
A new bike, a week off work, and it’s too hot to ride during the day.
I’m going to wait until about 8 and get out for a couple of hours.
Don't rob yourself of that time on the bike - assuming you're in a leather jacket and jeans, you'll get breeze over 30 (albeit warm breeze lol) - just make sure to take water or stop for some, and have a cold shower when backIt’s crazy fun, the steering is so responsive, it immediately falls into corners. Say what you want about KTM, but they make some very very nice looking bikes.I’ll just leave this here

Insured the RGV today for a lol amount..
then took it out for a shake down as its's not been ridden in many years and had a poke around to see if it'd pass an MOT.
All seemed good apart from the front brake switch wasn't working, but as with any old bike it just needed the spade connectors cleaning and a smear of dielectric grease to make it good again.
I forgot just how urgent 2 fiddy 2-strokes are when in the powerband, and tbh its's far more fun than having 200+BHP on tap.
I did the right thing selling my 10R.

Another professor of the mesh jacket here, too. They are incredible in this weather. They do have a heat ceiling though, which is usually around 36-37° for me. Then it's t-shirt time. Even gloves are a hard wear in that kind of heat.

Yeah good advice, just got back from a 3 hour ride (and yeah leather jacket and jeans). Crazy crazy capable bike for the size, starting to bond with it now.
Slow bike fast > fast bike slow. I've lived by this and it's not only given me some proper fun, but also kept me not-dead. That KTM is lovely @Worthy - looks like they might have forgotten to peel the stuff off the back of the plate, if so, peel it off now before it becomes a horrendous mess.
