I would really appreciate some advice.

I have a Thermaltake Core V21 case and am 8th in place for an FTW.

Would i be better off with a blower/FE?

I'm not going to SLI (have been burned, figuratively and literally, with SLI in the past). I'm more than likly not going to be pushing an overclock but also want to be able to hold the boost at the high end during load.

I think most get the FTW to OC it, due to duel bios. I mean im assuming that case doesnt have much airflow, so a blower would help in that regard, as opposed to hot air from the gfx being blown into the case

this is excactly what is ****ing me off how every thing seems too being shipped except the EVGA cards. gigabyt and msi have already dispatched some, and its making me seriosuly consider just getting an FE card.

People getting MSI already now... people are getting cards which had 17th ETA when I PO in may... and still not got the card I PO that had ETA of 3rd... but I will continue to wait and will hopefully be happier with the FTW than I would have been with FE!! Certainly is testing my patience, but also I am not happy getting an FE for more than the FTW.

I feel your pain, I originally went with the EVGA FTW but half hour after my order i changed to the MSI 1080 gaming X and paid the extra, just through pure loyalty to MSI (Most of my PC parts are MSI).

Sure glad i changed now thats for sure.

It is tempting to just get a FE... but then the FTW is less and also should be better and quieter. I do want the FTW but I wish we could have more info on batches etc. I have waited 2 weeks already and should be less than 2 weeks more so I will persist with waiting!!

I'm in the same boat but with ASUS. They already have my money, they could at least grace me with some form of reliable ETA in return.
