I run a 4k monitor with my 1080, a nice 4k performance bump would interest me but I'll wait for Vega and the manufacturers custom cooling solutions to be released before making a decision.

the FE 1080 was 699 and that worked out at 619.99 so this should be the same right

If you take the most recent product announcement/launch, Ryzen, $499 translated to £489.99. Applying the same conversion factor to the 1080Ti gives a UK retail price of £686.37. I'm calling £689.99 OCUK retail price.

I'm thinking £649.99 at least for the cheapest FE. I'll wait for the custom cards.

The price will vary on which board partner brands the box. Asus will have no problem pricing over £700 for the FE, while a Palit or Ocuk model for example could be easily £50 less.

i will be getting a 1080ti and probably at launch. I have a 980ti and a gsync 4k monitor so amd is a no go for me. I have been putting a little money aside each week for a few months towards a 1080ti. I was guessing 1080ti would come out at around £850 so the $699 price tag has me very happy.

The launch prices of the 780Ti and 980 Ti were $699 and they came out at £549.99

with the current change rate $699 is £568 with taxes and other stuff £619 is fair imo

Likely to be an outright no as it's far too expensive by the looks of it. nVidia prices are a bit silly currently.

I will see what Vega brings to he table, it might be very impressive, or might be impressive enough to bring the costs down a bit. It could well be a flop, if it is, then i'll stick with my 980Ti until the next round. I will only spend over £500 on a GPU if I really need to upgrade and it's worth it.

Whenever has it been fair in the UK? It will be approaching £699 here. We always get stitched.

And the Asus tax version will be £800+
