US kills Iran's General Soleimani

Iran is unlikely to do much damage. I don't rate her weapons technology. Her real strength is in ground forces.
 
Guess we'll find out how trigger-happy Trump really is. Also while it's sordid in the extreme, it'd be interesting to see if the simulations of a US-IRAN war are accurate (though they were biased towards Iran).
 
O it's all going down now. The US won't be used to actually getting fired at by an Army that can fight back.

Head onto twitter and it's loaded with new videos of missiles directly hitting the base.

Apparently its been reported the US has launched aircraft from a base in the UAE.

No chance he's backing down now... expect more than the 52 targets too now... like it's clearly been heightened rather quickly. Gonna be a rather target rich environment if they're silly enough to get their airforce involved - feel sorry for the Iranian pilots if they do have to fight... they don't stand much chance.

Those B52s that moved across to Diego Garcia might get to see some action now!

It depends does Iran have the S400 that is a lethal weapon system that could take down US aircraft.

That must be it. There's no way that the actions of a few or mishandling of a massive crowd could trigger a surge.
