No biggy but I think OCUK has the wrong EVGA 3070 / 3080 card pictured.

Not sure, sorry mate. Never owned an Asus. Hopefully someone else can advise. :)

I just had a quick check and it seems they use them silly Warranty Void sticks so very likely not :( https://www.asus.com/uk/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-MATRIX-RTX2080TI-P11G-GAMING/HelpDesk_Warranty/ note number 3. Shame they chose to do this as i own a 2nd hand 1080ti strix that i have watercooled and would have liked to get another Strix as this has been good to me . Oh well its their loss as will now go with EVGA , Thanks for your help !:D

Screw that.

I should also note that EVGA have a small sticker on one of the backplate screws. Removing this doesn't void the warranty though (confirmed by Gamer’s Nexus in their EVGA FTW3 2080ti teardown). They do seem a very pragmatic company which is why I'll try to get one of their cards when the carnage ensues on the 17th :D

I have been seeing posts on Reddit of Amazon Italy and Germany having 3080 and 3090's on preorder this morning, and some people actually managed to place the order before it got removed - wonder if they'll be fulfilled!

I did a bit more digging around yesterday and apparently if your in the USA then this doesn't apply and your free to rip the warranty sticker off and fit a waterblock to an Asus card but everywhere else in the world the above terms still apply so basically no warranty if sticker is removed... it bs tbh:rolleyes: yeah im going to try grab the EVGA 3090 when its released.. I. Hoping the high price will keep most away but probably not ;)

Actually you got me thinking about this, did a little digging, and I think it might be OK in the EU, too:

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/forums/threads/evga-cooler-removal-policy.18850973/

From the EVGA website:

https://www.evga.com/support/KnowledgeBase/

"Installing third party cooling solutions does not void warranty on our products. Just be sure to keep the original cooling solution as it will have to be on the card if it is ever sent in for RMA. Any physical damage such as burn marks, water residue or damage, or any damage to the PCB will void ALL warranties."

Sorry mate i was on about the Asus Strix card having issues with the warranty and sticker removal ( excluding USA ) , The EVGA card has no such issues and we are free to watercool it from the off without fear of warranty problems wherever we are in the world :D

@Gibbo is this being corrected for clarity on the shop? Or you might upset a few people come pre-order day for mis-selling lol

Whether it be the product photo or title that's incorrect for all 3 models... I imagine it's supposed to be XC3 but product page is listing 'ICX3' with the FTW3 photo?

Also any word on listing the FTW3 models as well? Are they not launching on release, or is FTW3 a future launch date model?
