** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES (3090 / 3080 / 3070) NOW ONLINE AT OcUK **

@Gibbo is this being corrected for clarity on the shop? Or you might upset a few people come pre-order day for mis-selling lol

Whether it be the product photo or title that's incorrect for all 3 models... I imagine it's supposed to be XC3 but product page is listing 'ICX3' with the FTW3 photo?

Also any word on listing the FTW3 models as well? Are they not launching on release, or is FTW3 a future launch date model?

The FTW3 is one I would like to hear about personally. It seems odd that there is no release information about it so far.

FTW and Hybrids will not be available for launch, trust me, I know. A FTW for £359 was never, ever going to happen. You will have to wait until next year in all likelihood.

So just in case I decide to go for a Founders Edition - does anyone know what their (Nvidia webshop) CS is like? I've read a couple of bad experiences but I've been informed through Nvidia live chat that they have RMA warehouses in the UK and EU?

Edit: Clarify who "their" is :D

I Imagine what we will get is the FTW3 as pictured , the ICX3 looks to be a cooling feature that the ftw uses so possibly correct https://www.evga.com/technology/icx3/ :)

Does anyone know what the actual differences are between the FTW3 & XC3 cards ? I will be watercooling it using the EK block and backing plate ( pending release ) so does it actually matter which version i go for

ftw are usally taller pcb's that icx cards, the ek waterblock should be ok with the icx cards but check compatibility with the ftw just to be sure on release day that is :)

I'm not 100% convinced - I swear the FTW3 model carried a bit of a premium usually, this one is only £10 more than the RRP. But like you say ICX3 seems to be a FTW3 model, maybe it isn't all that much then for FTW3 card.

It's the only EVGA 3080 card OcUK have listed. The XC3 isn't even there, and that's the 'cheaper model' I thought. No idea

As for the question re: differences, someone posted this on Reddit - https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/ioqtgd/evga_3080_ftw3_vs_xc3_features/

yeah does seem at the lower end of the scale price wise for an FTW card as its not the lowest version with that being the XC3... not complaining as £1400 isn't exactly cheap for a gpu lol , are the price on the website set in stone or just placeholders until the actual release day? either way some clarification of what we are actually getting would be very helpful OC ;)

Cheers for the Reddit link will have a read now and cheers for the PCB differences Wookiee87 :D

Next year you reckon? I'm sure they weren't that far behind previously were they?
We have already discussed this on the EVGA forums. A) Supply of all cards is super small, B) EVGA have always been the slowest on everything and C) FTW is more expensive. I've been an EVGA customer for over a decade, 99% sure what you will get from Overclockers is a bog standard model. Ask Gibbo, if he doesn't answer then that would be bang out of order.

They're kinda 'the price' - but certain retailers have been jacking up a little (looking at you Asus, Gigabyte and Palit) and the GBP getting weaker hasn't helped either.

This is a long thread and I work nights so cant get to read it all, but which of the 3080 cards will be able to have a water block fitted? (make/model etc.)

TIA

Been quite tempted by the gigabyte extreme 3080, all the pics and promo stuff so far showed 2x8 pin power connectors.

I watched the gigabyte stream they did last night and they said it will actually have 3x8pin

The EVGA cards allow waterblocks to be fitted without affecting your warranty, just waiting on EK to confirm what fits what concerning the waterblock and pcb design.

This is going to increase the AiB cards generally no doubt, nVidia obviously are very generous when they do the conversion for the UK pricing! 1.28 now and dropping...

Huge multinationals (Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft, Google, etc) usually re-assess currency rates if there’s a movement of 5% or more (assuming they haven’t hedged, if they hedged they might wait fluctuations out). So we’re right at the edge for Nvidia to increase pricing if the current trend continues.

Maybe, but I think selling direct they're making enough of a profit to ride it out (hopefully for us!). It's gonna get rough...
