I asked OcUK cause I was debating getting the HoF card, and the warranty is though them, if card needs to get sent back I think it was roughly 28 days they said, but could be longer at present

5C drop in my TimeSpy average as well as quieter. Also dropped 50w+ off my max power draw and didn't lower my score.

Anyone have experience with the Palit Gamerock? I'm teetering between the Gamerock and Gamepro, and can't decide. I know the Gamerock has a higher peak wattage (400w) and three 8-pin plugs vs. standard (360w) and two 8-pins on the Gamepro. Can't really tell from pics or reviews which has the heftier cooling solution (or if either have better parts). The price at present is exactly the same for both cards.

I care not how the card looks: it going to sit face-down in a case under my desk. I also understand that all the 3080 ti models are neck and neck with one another, but if I'm spending this much on a card, I might as well split hairs.

What sort of overclock are people getting here on the core boost and memory clock?

with my 1800 @0.9v, I’m getting from 1920 to 1950 core clock and running at 9700mhz on the memory.

The gamerock is a much better card than the gamepro, it has better components and much better build quality, dual bios, the cooler shroud is solid metal with the plastic gems stuck on. It's a no brainer to get the gamerock as it is their highest end card they provide. I have two 3090 gamerocks in sli/nvlink, they are great cards even better than the evga ftw3 rubbish and match the strix cards. The pricing is really strange from Overclockers as the gamerock is always more expensive than the standard gamepro cards.

Grab one quick before they vanish they never last long in stock and the price is good for the gamerock. Just make sure to have a psu with 3 x 8pin pcie power.

Thanks - that's hugely helpful and what I'd suspected. I went for the Gamerock. I was a bit worried about that plastic face, good to know it's a metal frame underneath.

I have a quality 850w PSU that should handle the wattage/amps. It only has 2x 8-pin connectors and 2x 6-pin (which is surely the norm). Can't I just use one of those 6-to-8 pin adapters for one of the connectors?

Finally managed to get one at a “reasonable price” to go with my 5950x just waiting for board to arrive before installing and swapping out my 2080Ti.

Was tempted with a ref and block but couldn’t be bothered stripping such an expensive card or paying £2k plus with one with a block. Will be undervolted in a large case with plenty of airflow so will be more than adequate cooling wise I suspect. The card is huge and top quality.

Blimey that is a good card, if its the card with the led strip on the side it would look cool as ever.
