I think it would go higher but is limited by the 1Gbe ports on the supplied MC888 router but it will certainly do! We're able to do everything we were doing on Vermin media. :D
 
@southy1978 if you don't mind buying a used zyxel nr5103e (v1), these have a 2.5gb ethernet port
i got mine from CEX for ~£110 iirc
the v2 is the stripped down version with only a 1gb port

Ubiquiti prices are usually pretty fair. This turned out to be €430 and may not have the features that you deem essential.

Not that I deem essential, but pretty fundamental when dealing with cellular connectivity, even more so if deploying as failover for corp/SMB etc.

Of course I don't, I mean I only design, supply and install comms as part of my profession, including cellular. Don't suppose to know what I do and don't know when you have no idea who I am or what I do. So tell me why you wouldn't want cell locking or manual band selection, since you must know more that me, right?

I'm sure people will be happy to buy a Cloud Key for ~£180 so they can run one if it is THAT good...

I've no idea why they also think sticking it on a window is anything other than a good aesthetic choice, proximity to double glazing plays havoc with beam forming.
 
Good evening I am new to the group.
I have been operating on ID MOBILE (Three)5G data for 2 1/2 years with good results.
I currently have four 5G routers ZTE 5001, ZTE MC801,The new ZTE G5 ULTRA and a Netgear Nighthawk.
I have an external antenna the Bluespot mini 5G.
Over the last 3 or four months I have been losing my 5G connection through my ZTE devices and it’s virtually nonexistent.
Today I connected my Netgear nighthawk to my external antenna and the 5G signal is as strong as I’ve ever experienced 300mbs.
I have bought a new 5G aerial to try, but haven’t as yet but today’s exercise leads me not to believe that would be the issue.
I’m not aware of any firmware updates that have happened in the last six months.
I actually got my MC801 exchanged under warranty because of the lack of 5G signal which worked for awhile two or three days before just locking onto a 4G signal.
Can anyone shed any light on my situation? It would be greatly received.
 
Could try factory resetting one of the ZTE devices and see if that helps. Given that the Netgear device gets good signal rules out a mast issue (for example). Do the ZTE devices (I'd imagine they would) cover the right bands for 5G used by Three in the UK?

Do you know which mast and cell(s) you are connecting to and on which bands - don't forget there is on going work to integrate Vodafone and Three so some masts are changing causing issues with certain connections to them.

I was paying £16 with Talkmobile up until very recently. However, I jumped back to EE to get their 5G standalone service. Now I pay something like £30. Speed wise from my Firewalla, I get reported speeds of around 450Mbps and 35Mbps.

I did think about that but the Netgear router runs fine on 5g
