    Warranty on B grade GPU

Ok final update. Unbelievably surprised. 2 years and 11 months on a B-Grade gpu without a serial number or original box and I've not only had a replacement sent to me its an upgrade. I had an OC Black which is a basic card, and I got sent an Auros xtreme! the heatsinks literally 2x or more in...

    Z370-F 2nd M.2 Slot

Oh wait, have I read this right that M2_2 is actually PCIE only? If so that makes a lot of sense

    Z370-F 2nd M.2 Slot

When I first got this board I quickly got an M.2 Sata SSD and installed it into the only M.2 slot I could see (not realising there are 2). This slot is just above the top PCIE lane and is actually marked as the 2nd slot, however I couldn't do anything for the system to recognise anything was...

    Warranty on B grade GPU

To be fair I really should have registered it asap, never thought to. In fact once I realised after a month or 2 it was functioning I completely lost the idea it could ever break xD.... Anyway current update, Gigabyte have it but haven't started working on it yet.

    Warranty on B grade GPU

At the time it was £500 when I think I was seeing £650-£700 for new, and since it was factory refurbished I thought it was worth it. If the GPU shortage didnt kick in I might not even have noticed it die since I've been trying to get a 3080.

    Warranty on B grade GPU

Thanks guys, worth a shot, maybe I'll have some luck with gigabyte. Really bad time for my card to kick the bucket

    Warranty on B grade GPU

Ah so the 3 years would be effective at the beginning of its life? How can they verify how old the card was at refurbishing?

    Warranty on B grade GPU

I bought a B grade refurbished Gigabyte 1080ti directly from overclockers UK on 29th September 2018 and it seems to have unfortunately died today. I've read online a 3 year warranty is a standard for graphics cards and wondered if this applies to mine. I cannot see a way to ask a support...

Need help deciding on bass focused headphones for Music/Gaming

So the DT 770 Pros (80 ohm) arrived today and i'm quite impressed, the only thing I have an issue with is the sound is relatively fatiguing or restrained as before using my soundcard at high volumes, which I'm not sure if this is a issue of the interface or the headphones inherently. I know...

Need help deciding on bass focused headphones for Music/Gaming

So just discovered the beyerdynamic custom studio which seem similar to the dt 770 (80 ohm) but have a removable cable and not as spikey treble. To me this sounds like an improved variant of the dt 770 pros, does anyone know if they are practically the same headphone cos it would really benefit...

Need help deciding on bass focused headphones for Music/Gaming

Open sound, clarity, detail and quality are all quite important but I can't compromise on insufficient bass even if its a smooth dynamic sound. Without hearing them I can still agree from your description it probably wouldn't be a good daily driver and would suffer for gaming, and for very...

Need help deciding on bass focused headphones for Music/Gaming

I think after hours and hours of forums/ reviews/ researching on audio in general I've made my mind up. After all of the suggestions here I finally fell into looking at the DT 770 pros, I would prefer the 1770 but the price jump was too high for me, however the previous post listed a bunch of...

Need help deciding on bass focused headphones for Music/Gaming

Thank you for the input so far, it has been very useful and helped me continue researching for what I want. I wanted to hold onto my soundcard cos it feels a waste to stop using something I already have and buy something new, however considering I'm finding reviewers say anything from £100 can...

Need help deciding on bass focused headphones for Music/Gaming

To be honest I really have no idea. I don't know what a boosted mid or upper mid sounds like, the only thing I can comment in terms of good bass (and this might be an oxymoron) is a punchy deep sound without it muddying the other channels and just becoming indistinguishable, and probably in most...

Need help deciding on bass focused headphones for Music/Gaming

TL:DR I want a good sound stage and bass but am unsure what to buy So I'm currently using Hyperx Alpha headphones and a Soundblaster Z soundcard. The quality is good and using the equaliser I can really crank the bass where it even physical shakes the headphones, but I always get a sense of...

    Confused on Bluetooth wireless headphones

So ive looked into a lot more reviews and explanations of headphones and better understand impedance and why you use a DAC. So at the moment I'm using a Sound Blaster Z soundcard and if it can deal with a higher Ohm headphone I dont see the point going out and buying an external dac worth nearly...

    Confused on Bluetooth wireless headphones

so for example the Sony XM3's support page says the audio formats are: SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC and the bluetooth frequency supports: 2.4GHz band (2.4000GHz-2.4835GHz), it doesn't specifically say APTX-LL in there, but does mention 2.4ghz and aptx and aptx HD. would this connected to an...

    Confused on Bluetooth wireless headphones

Quick googling around. Do I understand you correctly that the easiest solution is to just get a bluetooth dongle (whether internal or external) thats Bluetooth 5.0/ 2.4ghz?

    Confused on Bluetooth wireless headphones

So I want to buy a high-end pair of wireless headphones like the Sony XM3's or Nuraphones, but these type of headphones seem to want to be wired into a PC if your not using the phone app. However this is where I begin to get a little confused and have questions. I already have a soundcard which...
