I have looked around and the recommended requirements seem to be:
E6600
GTX260 or 4870
so my pc will definitely run it maybe on medium/ high. Would like it to be maxed out though and the pc needs a update, but unsure how to upgrade on a tight budget or wait it out.
Thinking of just...
Looking at some of the specs required (or what people have guessed from the beta) a dual core should be fine, it recommends a nvidia 260 as the recommended gpu what is quite low so think i might pickup a cheep GPU at least as the CPU upgrade can wait till i got more cash :)
Will have a look...
Think its a OCZ
There is no exact budget, £200 maybe a bit more in a couple of months.
If i had a much bigger budget a I7 (2011) and a NVIDIA 570 would be on order :(
Hi guys,
now my brother has decided he will upgrade his pc i am now in the mood to do it myself :)
The problem is my stupidly tight budget being a uni student.
The main aim will be to easily run diablo 3, think my current build will manage it but might not max it out (the requirements are...
Thanks a lot for the quick replies :)
Will run it past him, he is a bit of a nvidia fan boy i think but will try and convince him otherwise. Having to get a PSU for a card only as good as a ATI seems a bit silly.
Hi guys, havent posted on here in quite a while but wanted to dubble check his new build with you guys. Im not sure if his PSU will do for this build (its is a 500W OCZ).
He already has a case, sound card exc his old build has a 9800 GPU and a dual core cpu. The pc is for gaming and wants he...
in my opinion a new case would offer best results. antec 900 have very good cooling but some people hate the looks. there cheep and well build in my opinion (i own one currently)
they are looking more and more tempting.
what top did you find the best that is currently being soled or know of being very quiet?
find it very hard to find good reviews of pump's and tops, mabey im just no good at searching :(
hmm ok ill look into the new other tops for the D5.
im surprised there is no X is best pump for noise yet as water cooling is pretty advanced now days.
By the sounds of it they are both very good pumps, i just want to get the best i can :)
im very suprised about the leek, i was planing on using 1/2" barbs with the 7/16" tubing.
maybe i will need to add clips as well O.o.
its a shame as the clips never look good.
thanks for all the help guys.
The koolance top dose sound the best, but they dont make them anymore and i dont think they are easy to get hold of.
So i think the best option would be the ddc with the xspc res top 10W, will allow for a more restrictive loop down the line and i will have some fans...
now the question is how hard is it to get hold of the koolance top, i am guessing hard as you had to import yours.
guess they are fully out of stock new?
Troop sorry assumed someone elce posted there setup.
Sounds very good :)
my loop should only be a little bit more restrictive as im planing on using 7/16" tubing and planing on getting fatboy barbs but i will have more resistance from the extra rads.
guess my setup would be a medium flow?
Troop thats what im after, the tread was to find the quietist pump that can do the job well while still offering good performance.
what setting is your D5 at? i am guessing 1-2?
also what dose your loop contain?
thanks :)
i have read your tests and they seem to be done very well :)
is it still possible to get hold of the old koolance top?
and is there anything out now that is better (noise wise) or is the new koolance top and other tops out there atm for the D5 just not as quiet?
yeah my build should contain two 240 thermochill rads, it might include a thin 240 rad as well when i add a gpu to the loop.
the pump should be able to deal with all of that right?
Nice work. i think i might of been persuaded over to the 655 side now :)
how much do you think the top changed the flow?
im guessing the flow on setting 5 is still better than the flow on setting 3 with the vario?
Thanks :)
