chronic, yep, I'm pretty sure my wheel is well calibrated, I believe it's done automatically.

Nikaz, you're a genius, that patch fixed it! :)
I'm only off the road because I took the screenshot.

Car handling and performance should be somewhat improved too apparently.

Unpatched the Porsche plus a few other cars experienced chronic bouncing problems which certainly hindered performance & handling.

Glad it's sorted mate.

I'm also able to head the car into the racing line and hold it with more precision now. Nowhere near 'good' yet, but much improved.

Ok here's my first attempt:

I think with a good lap I can get into the 1.22's and any more will need tuning. 6th gear is useless to me at the moment so there is some time to come there. Getting Surtees right is so hard, not managed a decent line through there yet.

Edit: Why did I pick such a bitch of a combo! :P

Same here, well, I almost did. Stirlings bend is hard too, but it's druids bend that keeps eluding me. I've been rewatching nikaz' video and took note of where exactly he starts to brake (or just start to turn in, I'm not sure what he's doing), I just hear a screech starting after the 'Hankook' bridge but fractionally before the 'nfs live' banner overhead, that's my clue.

That's good chronic. Well since installing the patch and having more top speed available, I'm doing better. Last time my best was just over 1.34. Right now though I've got close to 1.29. I'm almost definitely going to cut a second or two off that (fingers crossed :p)

Excellent chronic, nice time! Well, it looks like you and me can compete for best times against each other since neither of us may attain the 1:21 to 1:24 times of the others. Well you might, but I doubt I will until I'm more experienced. I just made it into the 20's, heh and it was hard work (fun of course)! :D

haha nice time merlin... i'm still pretty new to my wheel and to the game. think its time to tune my car i think!

Speaking of calibration chronic, if I change to cockpit view, I've noticed a millisecond or two delay in the car movement and onscreen driver wheel movement after I move my wheel. Also, the wheel onscreen is slightly turned right when my wheel is dead centred. Tested in windows and my wheel is perfectly aligned. Loaded up dirt2 demo and my wheel is perfectly aligned in that with absolutely no delay at all with onscreen wheel and car movement, everything moves at the precise moment when I execute it. So I don't know if shift is meant to be like this or not, but it doesn't seem right.

i use the view with just the clocks no cockpit or bonnet view, my wheel is perfectly alligned, if i dont touch my wheel it will just drive in a straight line not sure whats up with yours, try unplugging ur usb and plugging it back in some times my game pad used to do that and thats how i fixed it!

heres a new time after using nikaz setup apart from the gear ratio!
