what about getting one of those O2 dongle that you can use £15 a month for 3G limit?

It only cost £10 for the dongle, its PAYG, you can even buy daily allowance too, or £10 for 1G per month.

Im about to pre order mine (16gb wifi ) and didnt know wether to add that to my order ?

It'll do the job but I've seen videos on youtube where when people have been using it as a stand the front cover no longer sits flush with the screen.

It's the Dodocase for me.

so hang on I'm confused... I understand imposing a cap to stop people taking the mickey, say 10GB or something like that, but why advertise a plan with a 500MB cap as "unlimited" when other plans allow 500MB / 1GB / 3GB and are stated as such?

You guys are surprised at 500MB. Well on my o2 simplicity contract apparently unlimited means 200 MB. We truly do live in the dark ages.

I set up a US iTunes account when I bought my iPad. It's been working fine. Last night I downloaded another free app from the iPad app store app. I had to agree to new terms of service which reiterated That the US store must only be used in the US and that they will be using certain technologies to identify people breaching this policy.

Anyone else worried about having their iPad blacklisted from app store?

Apparently it's still a bit flakey, but I've not tried it yet. Is the iBookStore there too?

Ok now i am getting a little confused .

3G I pad shipped by the 28th and I am looking for a Data plan .

I want to be able to use 3G when I am out walking , yes I do go hill walking at the weekend .

I will not be doing any dowloading as such on it other than surfing , streaming and using the 3G for loaction .

A few questions if you guys could help .

1. I was looking to use the 02 PAYG sim card that had unlimited 3g network if you topped up £10 a month , am I correct in saying that this is only 500MB a month ?

2. I want to be able to take this thing to the gym and stream a BBC I player to it maybe four times a week for an hour ( yes my love of the treadmill grows ) what sort od data plan will I need ?

3. My BT broadband at home offers BT OPEN ZONE , does anyone use this on a regular basis and although i udersatnd it is location dependant will I get use of it between North Essex and East London during teh week ?
