You have to use GPUz to read off your original bios into a file first.
Save the file as original.bin in the same folder where you see run.bat
Once you done that then you should execute run.bat.
That will produce modded.bin in the same folder. That is the file you then manually have to flash to your card.
Why W1zzard hasn't come up with the appropriate batch files to automate the flashing of this part (just like he did for the original 6950 to 6970 one) I don't know. As such, you have no choice but to get dirty and learn the few simple commands to flash modded.bin to your 6950.
what are the commands to flash? Same as OP?
Think i got it, For dual cards should i remove one, flash it, then replace and do the other?
Type "atiwinflash -unlockrom 0" <-- the 0 means first adapter, if you have multiple cards, physically uninstall all but the one you want to flash
- Type "atiwinflash -f -p 0 modded.bin"
is unlocking the shaders just a software thing, or is it actually changing the hardware, what im asking is how do i get it back to normal for possibly sending them back or selling because i hate ati's drivers so much.
You can flash it back yes it just a bios
What wrong with your drivers, did you use driver sweeper?
Thanks how do you flash it back?
atiwinflash -unlockrom 0
atiwinflash -f -p 0 original.bin
atiwinflash -unlockrom 1
atiwinflash -f -p 1 original.bin
