Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

I am getting so fed up with random disconnects. It's happening all the time now! I just get disconnected from the EA servers. Are there any common fixes to stop it?

EDIT: I'm just updating PB, hopefully that helps.

I have been playing BF3 again for the first time with the new patch and for some reason my hits are not registering. I have been emptying clips into people and not getting the kill (sniping people and putting about 6 bullets into them to kill them). It also seems to not want to start the game until my 3rd-4th time at trying to connect to a server. I used to laugh at people having problems with BF3 as i had none so i guess this is payback.

I'm afraid im hearing a lot of reports about R21 being a little bit on the buggy side. I expect a maintenance day coming soon.

I was disconnected several times, as were others.

Over and over and over and over and over again. WTH is this, never had it before?
 
Disconnected just now, gotta laugh though. Just earlier i seem to have sorted my stuttering issue, now it's disconnects. Downloaded a bf3 user.cfg file from here.

Added the following two lines.

Renderdevice.forcerenderaheadlimit 1
renderdevice.triplebufferingenable 0

Running sweet as a nut, no jerkiness, jittering, mouse movement back to silky smooth, just a tiny bit of connection lag, (but im used to that). Config file above features a handy graph for monitoring cpu/gpu usage in game.
 
So was it the server we were on, or not?

Because I've been having these issues for a few days, I've just updated PB, and then it happened again, but it seems like you all had it at the same time as well.

Was the server, but i just had a crash in another round now. Bf3 .exe has stopped responding, havent seen that in a long time.
 
I have had the "Game disconnected: game session on server was removed" twice now, and i have lost a lot of points, both happened near the end of a game. :(
 
hope it sorts your issues

i wont be playing until new dlc now if thats bad ill uninstall it and thats me done . better games about with less bugs in .
 
Seems a lot better so far, movement is more fluid, no juddering when aiming. Still getting a bit of lag, but thats bt for you lol.:D
