What watch do you wear?

After a few beers I decided to take the plunge and buy this:

It has the blue hands. First thing I'll be doing when I get it is removing that horrible blue strap and replacing it with something more appropriate, turning the beast into this beauty...

I can't wait!

Where is the best place to get a strap to match the one in the above photo? Something of quite high quality preferably.

I'm not usually a fan of skeleton watches but seeing the transformation made by the different strap really appealed to me. I need a dress watch and this looks the part and is pretty damn good value too.

I am very tempted to purchase one of his skeleton watches, either the black or the rose gold one. They are beautiful.

Here is my little collection:

What requirements do you have from a watch and what is your budget?

At this price, if that watch ticks all your boxes and you like the look of it better than anything else you've seen, I'd say get it. Some may recommend sticking with watches from actual watchmakers to get more bang for your buck.

Hi.

If possible, would you be kind enough to share your opinion on a watch I'm considering?

I've never spent this much money on a watch before so I'd like to make sure it isn't considered crap or hideous to most.

Thanks.

its a 'fashion watch' I don't think they're looked on particularly kindly by watch enthusiasts - basically its just a generic quartz watch with a brand name on it

then again, if you personally like it then who cares

at that price range, if you wanted a 'real watch', then take a look at Seiko

Well, mine is off back to Longines. Although it gets quite a bit or wear the leather strap retainers have worn very badly, one has actually come off!. 5 weeks to wait for Longines to turn it round. Even then they may not replace the strap! Does anyone have a good strap maker they can recommend?

Good news, Longines have replaced the strap and for some reason have serviced the 6 month old movement which ran 1 second per day fast. I think I may pick up a different strap and keep the original in the box in case I ever fancy selling.
