Type R and VTEC owners

Good old Takata issue.

Apparently there has been issues with the bag going off sending casing shrapnel out. 3 poor kids had to sit and watch their mum bleed to death after a low spec impact when the fragment severed her jugular.

 That's realllllly bad. I imagine a massive financial settlement took place.

Jesus, Just had a little read up on the whole subject, they've known about these issues for years and only now called a recall.

So i've been driving/passenger in a potential death trap for many years????????

Read the letter properly when I got home, yes even the letter states that stuff might stab you in the face if it goes off.

Got it booked in Monday with a courtesy car....Watch it be Jazz just to annoy me, i'll post a picture if it is just so Nath can make a mess all over himself.

I'll look forward to that

I got a nice new accord last time the Type R went in - there is some hope

Getting so hard to buy a good car. Saw this, thought... hmm could go cheap. Spent some time talking to seller... then went to good old google!

Claims mint bar a small dent on rear 1/4 but totally spot on car. The mods are good and bad, sits way too low but not cheap stuff. However...

Robbed and buggered, seen track use, bits smashed off at random, thankfully averted!

EDIT: spoke to the guy he's gutted, he doesn't know what to do... but then again he may have known about the cars history all along and decided to play the lying game. If genuine, he's been shafted but he will have to do the same to someone else to get rid lol.

I'd leave it, I seen this for sale on ebay before, why would the current owner be selling it so quick just after buying it?

Why are you looking at FN2's Stormster? They have rear suspension from the 90's.
Get an EP3. They look better too.

Because I want one?

Yeah I spotted the non-GT one, no point really, may as well definitely have another EP3 if I go for a basic FN2 lol.

That stolen recovered "HPI clear" one sold for £5300. Lucky for him I feel.

Simon, any recommendations for gearbox and diff fluids? I was going to get honda mtf for gearbox but what about diff fluid?

2 litres for gearbox and 1 litre for diff, right?
