I'm running 2065Mhz with no clock drops on my test bed.

What memory clocks though?
With anything above +400 on memory mine downclocks to 2050 (stays there though).
@vore: Mine has no coilwhine so you cannot hear it. Constant 2050mhz core with +450 on the memory. I would say I enjoy it very much. Max Temp: 42 degrees.
Using the EK btw.

Anyone got any 3440x1440 benches. 1080 Max OC vs Titan X Max OC? Possibly SLI as well?

Still have my single TX at home. Can run that on air and sell my 1080's. Then buy another for SLI with block and backplates for the 29th.

Seems they should be a good chunk faster in SLI?

Point is he said he was perfectly happy running the fans at 3000 rpm. WHich is why he got a very high fpi radiator (the highest you can buy) which is pretty useless cooling at low fan speeds and only really starts to shine at 1500-1800rpm and above

SO I would imagine than unlike yourself and me, he will be running at 1500 to 3000 rpm most of the time.

Why would you run fans at 3000rpm with water cooling?? Isn't the whole point of watercooling that you can get good temps and low noise? You could probably run the same setup at 1000-1500rpm and still get more than acceptable CPU and GPU temps. Or even 1500rpm if that is the minimum for that radiator... but 3000rpm... wow.

Why run the fans at 3000rpm, making it significantly louder than air cooling, for a few degrees less, when the temperatures are already more than good enough at 1000-1500rpm ?? If I got watercooling it would be so I could get good temps and quiet fans at 600-1200rpm.

Well fans typically are running at 1500 RPM under typical load in game, only did they go up to probably 3000 RPM on a Prime95 cpu stress test.

I did not build my custom loop to be silent, though 1500 RPM isn't overly noisy anyway - I did it because I wanted to overclock the graphics card and there is not any airflow around it in my case.

Also it was fun :)

Ah i see well 1500rpm is ok, but 3000 is like hairdryer.

Feels like my bank balance :(

With the card and the block and pads and then I decided on some new 3200 memory while I was upgrading and then "oh I see there are new cpu blocks out which look nicer so I'll swap that as well" and "oh I see there are new x99 boards out, I think I will have one of them" on top of the £700 of water cooling bits i bought, a simple watercooling swap from flexi pipe to hard tube has now set me back over £2500 :(

In fact, there is now only the hard drives and cpu going over to the new build and I keep twitching over the button for a new cpu as well..................

I know the feeling Lol. It never stops - it is like a disease that has gripped our wallets. I just cant help myself. Perhaps we need to spend a few days in a quiet room somewhere, minus our pc and credit cards. Lol.

Im still holding strong with my pair of 1080s... But I do confess to having an urge to sell one and accidentally buy a Titan XP before I sell the other. :p
