I sent a pick your brain question on your build thread about your 8 sticks of goodness .

First thing I try with my Titan X is the Battlefield 1 beta at 4K, but the fps is dropping into the low 50's and high 40's often. This is with no AA, everything turned down to high, no HBAO and resolution scale at 42. Bit disappointed to be honest.
Any way to definitively test if G-Sync is working correctly?
I am suspicious that either:
1) One of my Titan XP's might be defective
2) There is a possible bug in the 372.70 driver
3) Over clocking the GPU cores (by 200MHz) may be destabilizing G-Sync somehow?

Its a beta game with early Titan Nvidia drivers, I wouldn't be too disappointed; if 6 months after release its still the same performance I would be surprised.

That's what I thought, but someone else I have talked to is using a Titan and they could max it out and maintain solid 60fps. Could it be my 6600K? It's oc'd at 4.5.

No coil whine here... but I didn't have any with my 1080s either - what PSU do you have?
I have a Seasonic 860w Platinum (XP2), it's the first time I've had coil whine. Now I've had 2 1080's with it.
I put my 980 back in my computer last night and it's silent.

I think I noticed in your build log that you're planning a new higher capacity PSU?
Coil whine tends to be exacerbated when the PSU is being worked harder.

I'm only running a single GPU as I prefer a single card solution. I ordered a second card as the first one was so bad and that new card is just as bad.
I don't have any plans to change my PSU at the moment, as I've bought a complete custom set of cables from CableMod for it.
