Stranglehold Demo Up Xbox 360

Stranglehold Demo Up

Heres a fix for anybody who is getting the error code.

Symptoms

When you navigate to the "Marketplace" area in the Xbox 360 Dashboard, you see this message:

Xbox Live Marketplace is currently unavailable. Please check back later.

Things to Try

Delete any local copies of the "Marketplace Data" System Item, and restart the Dashboard:

In the Xbox 360 Dashboard, navigate to the "System" area and select "Memory", select "All Devices" (or the connected Storage Device) and select "System Items".
Select "Marketplace Data", select "Delete" and confirm.
Restart the Xbox 360 Dashboard and navigate back to Marketplace.
I got it from a phone call to microsoft.

I just downloaded the demo and gave it a shot - I really did not like it that much. Instead of Max Payne's control and camera scheme where it's stuck in place (FPS with third person view basically), you move Tequila with left stick instead of sidestepping, and control the camera with the right stick as if they were separate. Not the best scheme for a game like this. The cover system and interactive system feels very loose and unrefined, for example there's a feature of taking cover behind columns, and certain doorways, but this does not work for any corners you want to hide behind. Has the potential be a very repetitive game as well. I can understand those who like the game on the other hand, but it's not going to be a purchase for me.

I was up to 97% before it ceased to work, now its up again it wont carry on from the 97%. It just stays at 97%...

Think im going to have to delete the Demo and re-download :(

Did anyone else watch the trailer at the end? The multiplayer looks awesome fun!

Also hidden dual smg's in the demo.

Also Dual Golden Desert Eagles!

Really liked this, have been looking forward to it since the start of last year! Gonna get the PS3 Collectors version hopefully!

I would get the ps3 version but I already have hard boiled on DVD, plus I want to get it in August instead of waiting till September so will just import it and I'm sure I read only the 360 version is region free.

PS3 version was going to be region locked because of the Blu ray Hard Boiled on the disc but they changed there minds and now its region free. Also can only get Hard Boiled in the collectors edition being released only in the US.

Thought it was ok, nothing spectacular. Too much of it was done in Max Payne years ago to have any real 'wow' factor. Graphics were weird too, some things looked awesome and others looked rough as hell.

Will still probably play it through though.

Pretty good but very repetitive after a while.

I agree. I hope they add more gameplay mechanics to the final game, but the basic rota is dive, shoot, run, dive, shoot.

I really enjoyed it. Graphics were a bit hit and miss, but overall I thought it thought it was awesome, with all the debris/fruit/blood/bullets flying about

Sure, Max Payne has already done most of it but that didn't make it any less enjoyable. I though the demo has great replay value to because you can unlock all the special moves and play it through again.

I'll be buying it
