Ermm ZZZAC, you do know that the older tech ran/runs hotter than today's tech don't you? You will still need to add cooling to the P4 chip.

I just can't get that old Queen song outta my head, how does it go again ... oh yes ... Another one bites the dust!

ZZZAC, if you didn't buy all components you did and worked over the summer, you could have gotten this build for £573.85 (knocking off £12.50 if you have free delivery)

Overclock this to 4+ GHZ and you have a perfectly capable gaming system!

Yes, he made a few, well a LOT of mistakes - but who here can honestly say they haven't?

At times he's been ignorant and gone off at a normal (the phrase is tangent, but anyone with any degree of knowledge regarding maths know that as the tangent has the same gradient it's pretty much the same

) to advice, but that's no reason to insult him and lay into him.

He's 14, have you yet met a 14yr old that does everything he is told to the letter?

Just continue to point him in the right direction and offer him support and advice, don't try and do it for him!

Thats the problem, lot of people have being giving him advice and direction but he keeps ignoring it, subsequently hes receiving lot of abuse of late

Only given the bad situation i was put in
Motherboard *aked for options that would cost the same money (witch was all i had) and got no reply's.
and where else have i gone wrong... ur my xeon build, well i had orderd and paid for all parts before i was even given any advice
and well... anywhere else where ive ignored advise?

ignore the haters. learn from your mistakes. If you dont get any replies in one thread close and make a new one some where else. this is not the only decent fourm on the net. google some computer forums and you will also learn things fast

I told you the msi would blow up, that you needed more than 4-1 power delivery and that you were asking too much of a budget board. £30 more would have got a perfect board. I asked your overal budget, you didn't reply :rolleyes:

Cpu atm is a bit of a issue. At the moment im broke, but im planning to have another big hassle at "dinsdale_rd" ( The seller that scammed me ) and if nothing can be done im planning to work a bit and sell one computer, and put the best cpu in the machine i can afford :L

want to explain to me why my cpu hasn't returned, i have threatened to report him to the police and have been hassling him for over a month now, with no reply's and no progress in my situation, you seem to "know it all" what's going on? :rolleyes:

This isn't a "build" it's a farce. Masterpieces of modern technology have put together in less time. Civilisations have risen from the dust and dissipated into the mists of time. When you leave school/college/uni you should aim to work in a town planning office

Of course I want you to finish, which is why I have offered advice. But what the hell, go off on a tangent! You are of course your own man, you can do whatever the hell you like, with whatever hair brained, half backed plans you can come up with.
