Just to check what level of hatred that is - on a scale of one to Ashley Cole how much do you hate Wright-Philips?

:D lol

probably a nine then... he's not done as much to offend me as that other lil toe rag.

but if heaven forfend, he does come here, and subjects me to week after week of hopeless miss-hit cross, and ridiculously ambitious long-range shot, he will get upgraded from 9 to Cashley+Adebarndoor+Bentley (12/10 for hatred)

edit: and the De Jong rumour is blatantly nonsense, CaughtOffside.com is worse than the tabs.

Hodgson will take a while to settle, or moreso it'll take Liverpool time to adapt to his methods. His training is the same thing over and over, drilling their role on the field into them ALL the time. Simon Davies said all of them were sick of it but then it started to work.

I still really hope it's all not true. He surely wouldn't go unless he had some sort of budget to spend, because he'll want to take Hangeland with him no doubt.

Worst part of losing Hodgson is most likely getting Sven, Curbishley or someone similar :(

On a slightly separate note, why do Ian Wright and Chris Kamara have so much make-up on in their advert?

Isnt it because they are supposed to be parodying the Showmen of the early 20th century, who often wore heavy make up whilst performing their shows?

At this point I dont particularly want Hodgson, not really the sort of manager I want at this time. Whoever comes in though, I would be quite happy if they tried to get hold of Keisuke Honda, I know there were some rumours last season that we were interested, would like to see something more concrete happen in that regard.

I like Hodgson, he could do really well at Liverpool.

He's not got a bad C.V.

Liverpool would struggle to bring in a "Big" name, with the state of the club.

Or they are trying to play it safe, with Hodgson. I was thinking they would try lure in that ex Madrid boss personally.

Indeedy, someone to come in and just steady the boat so to speak.

Could be interesting, Liverpool's owners showing any sign of moving on?

He's a decent manager but his biggest achievements outside of Sweden are two Danish Cups and a UEFA Cup final with Fulham. Not only is he the wrong man for the job he's a massive step down from Benitez.

Arry didn't have a glowing CV in termsnof achievements either but he's certainly been a step up from Ramos

I think he'll do really well at Pool
