Post your problems / fixes here folks, Im sure there will be plenty

A couple of things to get you started, which no doubt most of you know already

Bioshock Nvidia Drivers

Ahead of the game's full release, NVIDIA has released new ForceWare beta graphics drivers for both Windows XP and Vista that are designed to have "improved compatibility for Bioshock". Specific issues for the 2K Games first person action-RPG were not revealed.

Activation Problems

SecuRom limits Bioshock installations to 2 hardware configurations at the same time. If you want to install BioShock on a third computer using the same Steam account, you have to uninstall one of your previous installations('Delete local content').
*Also applies to Full Retail

Why should steam be any different if the others need activation. They should be using it as well. Otherwise thats favourtism for steam users and console users.
The quote implies its only steam affected. But its all versions. Thats the point I was trying to make.

Official threads blow, allot good information gets lost inside them, as the forums search function sucks, thats when it actually works.

If the first post stays up to date then people can just check that when something new happens.

Can the title be edited to state when the first post was last edited?

Not for the lack of trying I can't get the Demo to run in DX9 mode in Vista 32bit. Tried the right click Directx9 on the icon and the -DX9 switch on a shortcut and it just crashes.

I'd like to use the widescreen FOV app and see what it looks like with AA and I don't have XP installed. Any ideas?

I can get the demo to run dx9 in vista 32, but the widescreen hack still failed to work :(
I booted into xp and it works perfectly :/

Just got to hope they release something to sort it out, a new game like this should support it properly imo

Because the whole idea behind steam is that it contains it's own content protection methods. All games on Steam should only use the steam DRM prevention imo. Valve should stipulate that and only distribute games that abide by it. They have ****** up big time on this one imo.
