Opteron 165 overclocks

It depends on the stepping tbh....

Anything from 2.5 - 2.8 however it really does depend on the stepping....

Mobo: DFI Lan party expert/sli dr
HSF: Big typhoon, scynithe ninja, zalman

If you are going to be getting one find out what the stepping is then you can find out what you may get.....

Overall its important to remember its potluck just cuz your neighbour gets 2.8ghz doesnt mean u will

I will be getting a CCBWE 0551 UPMW stepping and I will be using a Dfi mobo and OCZ platinum ram with an Arctic Cooler.

2.6ghz is still pretty damn good mate and I would be happy with it, its a lot better than my current 3400 newcastle.

I have a CCB1E 0550 vpmw that does 2.9ghz on water and 2.84 on air with an artic freezer pro cooler at 1.47v. Think it will do 3.0ghz but need to do a volt mod on chip as my msi board won't go above 1.47v.

Same as me except i have an abit an8-sli.
My max speeds were:
1.35V - 2475MHz
1.45V - 2610MHz

I was working in steps of 5MHz so they may have went 9-36MHz higher.

As shown in my sig (2.5) - haven't really played (prefer to damage my 148 as I like to have one machine stable :p ) I've got a new cooler, so once it's in I might have to squeeze another 100 mhz out of it!
