*** The all new iPhone 4 thread - Keep all iPhone 4 stuff in here ***

As someone mentioned in the WDDC thread, I'm mainly interested in how I can keep using my O2 simplicity sim on the new iphone what with it being a micro sim.

Don't really want to get tied into one of those rubbish iphone contracts!

do O2 let you upgrade before the 12 month upgrade time?

im 9 months into my contract on 3gs atm, is it possible without paying a shed load?

If it's anything like when the 3Gs came out, then no you can't do it unless you pay off the rest of your contract up front.

Has it got the same CPU as the one in the iPad? I didn't see anything about it really.. how fast is it? I hope web browsing won't be a lagfest like it is on the 3G!

I'm 14 months into an 18 month voda contract at 30 a month. Hope they play nicely and let me get an early upgrade.

Yup, its using the A4 Chip. So it probably safe to say it will be as fast. Although they never talk about clock speed, so we won't know until its out.

Yup, it's the A4 but there was no mention of the speed and whether it's the same 1GHz as the iPad.

Oh.. that's a bit odd. Any speculation as to why?

I've only had a quick play with the 3GS and that was pretty smooth (going through loads of artists on iPod and switching pages) - is it likely to be much faster than that?

In the WWDC Jobs said anyone with a contract expiring in 2010 can upgrade onto a new 2 year iPhone 4 contract.
