*** The all new iPhone 4 thread - Keep all iPhone 4 stuff in here ***

I prefer the 3g's looks compared to the 4's. Looks to square around the edges
It looks good to me

I can't speak for anyone else but I honestly think I prefer the looks of my iPhone 3G. Well, maybe the new design will grow on me but I'm not so sure. :o

Can you stick your existing O2 iPhone sim into a PAYG iPhone 4 without any loss of functionality? Mine's a 3GS contract.

Wonder if any of our networks will copy the AT&T early upgrade that Jobs mentioned? It still seems fundamentally silly to me that no-one who bought a 3Gs on contract can upgrade to a v4 on launch!

From the last thread said:
I believe o2 are charging £549.99 for the 3GS 32GB PAYG. As long as the iPhone 4 16GB on PAYG is less than £600 and the cutting your sim technique works like it does on the ipads, i'll be buying.

From the last thread. Is that the price showing internally at o2 now or just a random guess?

not iphone 4 related but since the WWDC thread is closed i'll ask here

Will anything else be announced at the event ? what of the rumoured apple TV updates etc.. ?

Probably not. Mobile Me might get mentioned and maybe Safari 5. But I'd expect any Apple TV updates to get their own event. At D8 Steve Jobs didn't sound like Apple TV was his top priority at the moment anyway.

If it's anything like when the 3Gs came out, then no you can't do it unless you pay off the rest of your contract up front.

hmm, according to the sale person when i got my 3gs they said i get a free upgrade after 12 months, does that cover iphones then, or because iphone 4 is new will they want to charge?
