I quite like this, a Chelsea Sportsquilt from Barbour.

I'm 30 and have decided to try and drop the perma-teen look and dress more my age. I'm thinking either olive or blue. What say you fashion gurus of OcUK? What are your feelings on this piece of clothing?

Fashion? Pfft, wear what you want. If you like it and think you can pull it off then go for it.

My dad had a Barbour wax jacket a few years back and was disappointed with how quickly it wore out, given their reputation for durability.

Goes with the Range Rover and taking young Trixebell and Ewan to private school followed by lunch and shag of the golf instructor. I have little love of those who live the image of wealth while having 2p in their bank and these jackets are becoming one of the many tappings of being one of the 'It' crowd if you ask me. Farmers fine, 2 bedroom 180K house with 100K of leased cars, no, sorry. ;)

Looks like a jacket liner similar to what I have in my waterproof.

Same as Tom0 for me, if you like it wear it, I wouldn't wear it 'cause others thought it looks cool.

Edit: £110? Fo' real?

So you think Ewan is an upper class name? I might just take offense at that ;)

Almost as gay as those ridiculous duster coats.

You MIGHT pull it off without looking like a total ponce if you're actually a farmer. Although all the real farmers I see just wear those boiler suits.
