some of you might of seen on Top gear about this film.

Its now been given a UK release date 3rd June

The movie, which I was lucky enough to see last summer, has caused quite a stir both within Formula 1 and the film world and with good reason - it's fantastic. It has already won one significant award from the jury at Robert Redford's Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, who gave it the World Cinema Audience award for best documentary.

It's a marvellous movie and, coming as it does from Working Title, the company behind Four Weddings and a Funeral and the brilliant mountaineering film Touching The Void, that's no surprise.

I get goosebumps just thinking about this film. Read tons of books and couldn't be a bigger fan without stepping into the realms of a stalker / weirdo. :P

Can't wait.
 
I just got my usual subscribers mag today, and init was a preview of this film including some extra interviews. I attualy broke a small tire to my eye........amazing. I am so going to see it, if nobody wants to go with me i don't care but I am going.
 
OOo thanks for the reminder, they are showing this at a local cinema at the end of June. Must book some tickets. I'll need to take tissues, whenever I watch nostalgic stuff about Senna I blub!

EDIT: Ticket booked, likely I'll be going by myself can't see any friends wanting to go but I don't care. I'll be seeing it on a GP weekend too :o

Does anyone know where this is showing?

I have searched all over, and Vue, Odeon, Cineworld and Showcase have it at "coming soon", but with no show times (except for 4 Cineworld cinemas showing it on the 21st June). Other than that there are some mentions on Twitter and Facebook about random cinemas having it, but I cant find any online. Everywhere shows it as releasing 3rd June, but nowhere is actually showing it! :(

I looked on the Picture House website, they had a FB link, which has a list of screenings.

Harbour Lights in Ocean Village will be the closest place to you I imagine
