***1.4 GHz dual-core Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo***

I think it is. I am lucky enough to spend a decent amount of time with most new major handset releases and I think putting all the Timescape and Mediascape doesn't do SE any favours at all.

Mediascape isn't found on the 2011 handsets..... ;)

They are also change Timescape to a application rather then embed it into the OS layer like they did on the X10. So if you don't want to use it, don't simple as that.

SE UI is very minimal on the 2011 handset, unlike that of the X10. So you can clearly see they have learn lessons here.

Have you used any of the 2011 handsets or are you doing what most people do and use the X10 as a reference for SE handsets?

This looks pretty ugly! Always been wanting to get an Android phone - upgraded the mrs to a Sony X8 - felt nice enough.

This may be worth a look!

Backing up Andy - they got removed from late 2010 code revisions because everyone probably realised they sucked and users never used it.

They'd better get cracking, when i saw the arc i fell in love, but it was too late for that phone seeing as everyone was heading for dual core.

This however im dying to grab asap.

No - think I heard an announcement was due in the coming weeks.

What we want is the entire front of the phone as the screen, and home return and menu located nicely on the side. Till then its all a bit... meh....!!!

my contract termination draws closer, want some news.. Never had a se phone

just wish the top was a little smaller

Looks very interesting......So Duo > Nozomi > Arc HD ? Who knows what it will actually be called when announced/released

Damn... still got about 18 months till I can Upgrade my Arc!!
