1/5th throttle mod

Think I'll give it a miss. there are so many twisty's up in the mountains here that you rarely get the crack the throttle open. I also think I'd miss the finer throttle control while doing them if that makes sence
 
I really wanted somethign like this on my 125's or 50's. You're just on full throttle most of the time on them and 1/4 turn is just too much when you have to keep jumping all the way back round to the brake riding round town. You'd end up sitting at the lights with your wrist cranked right over so it's in a comfortable position when you ride off.

I see where your coming from, deffo lost 'resolution' on throttle, which maybe aint best for the twistys

i remember my days on a 50 with it pinned everywhere.. felt king of the road though

what bikes ya got Jonny69 ?
 
I had a selection of 50cc and 125cc scoots and new style Vespas but stopped riding about 2 years ago. They ride well around the city, can't beat them.
 
i agree with that, fastest way round town on a 125 scoot.. i used to have a vespa with 3-4ft long chopped forks on, was the most ill handling bike ever created, some nutters even put 350LC motors in them :D

I dont get on well with scooters :p borrowed my sisters 50cc, bloody thing could barely do 30mph down a hill! and then I crashed it into a wall at 5mph because they have 0 Lean angle for corners! :p caught the center stand on the uneven ground and span me around, sprained my leg too that hurt :/

That was the first thing I noticed when I upgraded to a 125, it has some power to pull through bends plus you don't have to wind the throttle so far mid-bend :D

50's restricted to 30 are just a liability to the rider in my opinion. There's nothing worse than having the traffic on top of you overtaking all the time.
