10 Movies to See Before You Die

I personally think you should get off his back, if he thinks they are great films then that's his choice as they gave him what he was looking for in a film.

Its not the your best 10 films, if you was on your death bed and a nurse put that on saying you need to see it before you die, you wouldnt be very pleased.

Such a bad movie!

I definitely believe Goodfellas, The Godfather trilogy and Saving Private Ryan belong on that list.

I can only work on what I have seen, and what I like. I have not done a questionnaire for people to fill in so that my answer fits in with everyone's likes and dislikes.

From my limited experience of films I can honestly say that I would quite like to see those films before I die, even if it meant watching them again.

I don't have that much interest in films anyway. My friends do not like my taste in films (as some people on this forum have not), but I can only answer the question for me and regarding the films I have watched because I have not done a survey to get the "right" answer. (If I had done that then this thread would be rather pointless, would it not?).

I am curious about this film too, IMDB gives it a great review - sounds like my kind of film.

So because his taste in films differs to yours, or because his film knowledge isn't as vast as others he deserves to be called a chav and be made feel that his opinion isn't as valid as anyone elses?

There are lots of films in this thread which I certainly wouldn't call a must see, Back to the future, The Lion King, Die Hard. The last especially could be put forward for the same reason as AH put forward Fast and the Furious.

cheets64, good one on buying La Haine :) It's a good film is all I can say.
