12 to 15 year old gangs

Do you know how much money is spent dealing with illegal mary jane farms and the criminals involved? Legalise it and you'd not only boost the economy via tax but you'd ruin a very healthy source of income for criminals. I can't stand the stuff but I don't feel it should be criminal given it's far less dangerous than alcohol and even has medical benefits in some situations.

The problem with full legalisation is that you will get more people smoking it, more people driving stoned etc. I agree though the money needs to be taken away from criminals, so leave it classified as illegal, whilst making free treatment available for any addicts, which might in some cases mean controlled free supply until they can get off it. At the end of the day, any smoking is harmful, and it should not be further encouraged by weed legalisation.

Weed does not need to be smoked however, you can bake it into goods or imbibe it in a multitude of other ways.

I'm all for making access to the plant legal, if people choose to smoke it that's on them. It stinks like high heaven mind you, but then anyone living in flats etc tend to have to sign tenancy agreements stating they can't smoke within the home at all, but that's another issue. I'd rather live next to a stoner than an alcoholic, I can say that with 100% confidence.

Whenever i see discussion about child gangs this is the first thing that always come to mind.

Exactly how they are dressed round my area with out the weapons. Little tards thinking there big and hard. Some have ski masks too. About 6 or 7 in them though intimidating people who are on there own and main place to go for meeting place is bus station which had to be closed at one point on a evening due to them taking over. It went ok for abit but now its got even worse then before round other area as no doubt that they just got moved on and now around this area. They no they will get away with it. police know about them as they have had quite a thew reports about them from others not just me. There is a meeting about it at the end of june so hopefully something be done and not just get talked about.

I do fear going out now as i dont want the confrontation and all it takes is one of older ones to give an order and younger one will follow it then it be 1 vs 7 which aint good. I asked the police what came out to see me after report asking. What self defence can i use incase something does kick off. They said. Dont put my self in that situation. Like im going to go round looking for trouble going yooo hooo over here.. Younger ones are even worse has they have to prove to older ones they can do it to move up the ladder.

I was in my brothers shop and a customer came in saying. Sorry to hear about the break in it getting so bad round here. she said. I dont like going out after dark these days. I said. I dont even like going out in day as there many gangs hanging around now. Its not just after dark. Its any time as dont think these are going to school and after 3pm and holidays, weekends its even worse where police stay in as they know there be moe trouble then.

we have had an a few gangs show up round ours , we too are in the north , they are always out for confrontation with anyone trying to prove themselves. The other week at the local asda which seems to be there local haunt i got out of the van and witnessed them throwing stones at and OAP , when me and friend went over to confront them on this they got in our faces and started recording on there phones. Obviously this made us walk away we called security and the police and neither did anything. looking back to when i was younger if you did something bad out in public someone would come over have a go and you would be scared to do it again. now there seems to be no fear with them which i hate.

One of 8 or 9 year olds what goes zooming on path on scooter and looks at people with a right stare while passing meaning get out of my way look. Other day nearly fell off. 2 people said that was close wasnt it. This morning ive seen him with a pot on his arm. lol. Just hope he didnt crash into any one else or vehicle etc and just hurt him self.

Breaking: Local child exists, moves at speed, makes facial expressions. More updates on this riveting human interest story as they develop. (Psst... you might be looking for your town's Facebook page, not here.)

We get little scum bags around here like this.
Setting bins alight, smashing glass, aggravating people.
I've never had a run in but worst I heard was some kid got his bike robbed while he was on it at knife point. And there's been a murder with gang type stuff not long ago.

Can't wait to move out of the area. It's getting worse too and police do absolutely nothing so the behaviour is reinforced.

Not going to lie, I have no bad feelings when I've of these "little angels" comes a cropper by simply being hit by a car or someone taking justice into their own hands. Because the law certainly gives no *****.

I’ve probably said this a million times but I’m surprised more off licences don’t become effectively “holes in the wall” where you have to go to a window to get served and all of the goods are locked away.

It would be inefficient, service wise, but maybe they could have a way to pre-order online so they could have your stuff ready.

There will probably be more radical stuff like this as time goes on as law gets weaker.
Losses must be huge and obviously passed onto everyone else.

Same as here.
Same attire (black/white, tackies, coats in summer) and same gormless look.
Also without the weapons on show.
I know for a fact many have knives though.

This is how you deal with 12-15 year old gang members.

You'll get about as far with that as you did getting those kids moved on.
I guess your one of them in your town. These feral 12 to 15 year olds are picking on OAPs as well. Local council putting up new CCTV in town centre just for it. Hope it dont happen to you or your family.

Yeah, I'm definitely one of them because you can't take a joke about this usually being local Facebook group patter.

It's already happening around here, as well as pretty much everywhere else in the country. Unfortunately, whining about it online isn't going to achieve much and if it does get posted on the local Facebook group, it just seems to spur them on even more.

I have no one to talk to :)
