The biggest cause of this and things like the viral videos of people just walking into shops, robbing them and walking out, or road rage and just the way society is in general, is a lack of repercussion.
Whether that be retaliation or legal punishment.
There is nothing to fear, and when they weigh up the risk vs reward, the risk is so minimal that there’s nothing stopping them.
They know most people won’t do anything to them, and if the police do turn up are limited with what they can even do.
You’re never going to stop crime and ***** completely but more severe punishment would help.
If getting caught stealing resulted in your arms being chopped off there would be a lot of people that would think twice. Obviously that’s an extreme measure but my point is there’s nothing for anyone committing crime to be scared of.

My son was victim of an armed robbery to two local **** stains, plenty of evidence including messages sent to him, yet they didn’t prosecute. Filing a police complaint as we speak.

You misgender some one on line there be round straight away and you be behind bars with out court hearing.
I too dont have trust in them as said when they came to me after reporting it all they was interested in was did i retaliate. After i said not the first 4 times but after 5th i told them to f off them selves you small *****. Reply was. YOU SHOULDNT HAVE DONE THAT. I thought i was going to get arrested there and then. these 3 were only 12,13 as well. The others which these were in with at the other times was up to 15 year old

Yes, I've had run-ins with gangs of teenage toerags like this. There was a gang who hung around near a previous workplace of mine near Newcastle who were heading for prison. Their leader had over 20 criminal convictions (according to a local Policeman) and he was only 16. Eventually, they threatened and assaulted a lone woman because she took photos of them setting fire to someone's garden hedge. That was after they had made local people's (especially elderly people's) lives a misery for months and they had vandalised property, shop-lifted from all the local stores and threatened their staff.
The best way to deal with them I found was to buy a covert audio/video recording device and when they come up insulting me turn it on and collect the evidence of their misdeeds without them even knowing. I got their scumbag leader on video making death threats against me and carrying a weapon (3 feet of scaffolding pole) on the street. I burned it all on to a DVD and gave it to the Police. If something does happen and you have to defend yourself at least you can prove they have threatened you in the past. You don't want to get into a fight with them where only them and their friends are the witnesses.
You can buy a tiny covert video camera for under £50 nowadays. I hid one inside a packet of cigarettes with a hole drilled in the front so the camera lens could look out of it without being seen. I just nonchalantly pulled it out when they cornered me and acted like I was casually selecting a cigarette when turning it on. Something like that could save you a lot of trouble if the worst case scenario materialises and there are no independent witnesses, as they will back each other up and say you started it (in the case of the woman above they accused her of being a paedophile).
The law on the road use of over 250W ebikes is the same as for mopeds. You have to be properly licensed as the rider, wear a crash helmet, have at least third-party insurance, have road tax, the bike must be registered and it must be displaying a number plate.
never see gangs of kids since about 20 years ago around here on the edge of a city centre in a supposed rough area. (it was in the 90s and early 00s)

Newcastle city centre is a dump come about 17:30.
I was about to say as kids are growing up quicker these days the age of criminal responsibility should be lowered accordingly. However I googled it and was surprised to learn that it's already 12 years old in Scotland and 10 for the rest of the UK.
So why aren't the little scrotes being tried and treated as the criminals they are?
Like many societal problems the answer isn't a simple one. Punitive punishment is usually not the answer and in many cases makes it worse. I believe they need to be shown the good around them, the better ways to get their thrills and make their place in society. To be respected and revered by their good peers and not in a gang with the lowest common denominator dragging them down to their level.
Rose-tinted glasses firmly removed though, it would take a monumental shift in attitudes to fix it. Or a war.

Case in point:
A neighbour of mine had his window hit by a stone from a little scrote, this was the third time it had happened in the last few weeks. The neighbour came out of his house gave chase to the little ***** and chased him to his door. The scrote got inside the house about 5 seconds before my neighbour arrived at his garden gate and slammed the door as he got in. My neighbour goes and knocks the door and the scrotes parent is adamant he hasn't been out that day at all and wouldn't do anything like that and basically dismissed what was going on
Just wtf do you do with people like that? They're the type of people that even if you had video evidence the narrative would then be swiftly changed to "oh, you're recording kids, you're a pedo!" Even if it was doorbell cam footage they'd try to make that claim, some of them are that thick and cant accept their kid is on a one way track to a severe boot in the clackerbag.

What actually changed though? The youtuber didn't change his behaviour and learnt nothing, the parents 'support Tanner in whatever he decides to do'.
The concept of cause and effect is completely gone, if getting shot doesn't change your mind, then nothing will.

Used to live there as a student. Brighton Grove. Area was mostly Pakistanis and students but it had more than its fair share of gangs of young scrotes. Later moved to Benwell - now that was proper rough.I'm in the west end Arthurs hill/fenham area

It has happened like i said to my brothers shop and a couple of other business and 2 houses that night. My brothers damaged cost £3k not to mention others. Got money back from insurance but now his premiums gone up due to it. They had CCTV and witness but 2 days before court day my brother got phone call saying it been dropped as they say they didnt do it. These were 14 year olds. Probably same ones that causing all bother in day round here as this was last month and all anti social behaviour started in this time too. They just know they can get away with it.

One of the kids who mugged my son, when he was being interviewed, he said it wasn't him and that it was someone else, but he didn't have to give the Police a name... Is this not obstructing the course of justice, assisting an offender? Honestly, the law is so backward.

They are hanging out near cash machine in town too and one person said she heard them say. We need to get some money. So she steadily walked off felling uncomfortable.

Yep. Later afternoon is when it all goes downhill, kids leaving school basically. I sold my misses never to take the niece down there during this time and definitely don’t speak German so they hear, they’d go mental.
Thankfully during the colder months they’re nowhere to be seen.
