120mm Delta's

We do :D

I'l get one to strap ontop of a SI-120, that would be some air cooling :p Watch it get me like an extra 10Mhz or so, but at the same time making me deaft lol.

I have one for laughs. Yesterday we tested it again. I plugged it in, closed the flat door and living room door (my mate was in the living room with the pc) and told him to turn it on. I could still hear it from outside the flat. On the plus side, you can use it a bit like those leaf blower things for your garden - get a long cable, hook up to your pc and you can clean your room by blowing all the crap right out :D

Good for dusting my tv, mobo, HD etc etc she is

Today we been testing the shreading effects of one with a box of tissue

So cool we made a skirt for the fan so it is a now a hover fan

Thats given me an idea! What sort of battery would you need to get 2 or 3 of these running at the same time? I've always wanted to make a hovercraft! :p

i've got the 60mm delta on top of my cpu heatsink and i didn't realise just how loud loud was! omg - but u get used to it and it does the job well

Delta's are great. Just make sure you tell the neighbours before switing on multiple fans.. it could take up half your street power :p

Nice video Jokester, nearly broke atmosphere there!:p

When I first plugged one in to test, innocent and unsuspecting, it actually flew out of my hand!:D
You can just about hear it over the washing machine spinning at full speed. IN THE SAME ROOM!

I was just about to buy one..

I went to checkout.. expecting cheap postage..

City Link Next Day   £8 Im not paying that :p

I as actually thinking of buying acouple for one of my machines a while ago, thank god i didn't! Now i just want to buy one for the sake of it and have some fun. :p

Im sure if it was too noisy.. i would be able to find some use for it..

Maybe try dropping a carrot through it... it might be able to chop it up :D

Or maybe slice some chips ROFL

ive just orderd some panaflo l1a fans arnt they ment to be the best going to put them on 7v how load do you think they wil be and what airflow wil they do

Well, I ran 2 of them, along with a couple of 80mm FF Delta's and a 172x150mm Papst (About 650CFM IIRC, ran as main rig, 8hrs/day for about a year).

To reiterate a few things already said on here.
1) They are loud, very very loud. If you have to ask if you can put up with it, you can't.
2) They hurt when you put your fingers in them. It fractured my right thumb. I have scars.
3) They have a Gyroscopic effect. When unmounted, and moved, see number 2 for likely results.
4) For hardcore Air-Coolers only. normal people do not NEED that kind of airflow.
