Pretty chuffed with mine, swapped the rampage extreme II and x5650 over with my old i5 750 last night and it booted straight away, the board was already on the latest bios (which I thought I'd need to flash) and the CPU works perfectly.
Hit 4ghz straight away (200x20) without breaking a sweat so I'll be tweaking the bios more later on, I'd like 4.4
Good to hear hope you hit it. My 960 is about 4.5 which is why i have been reluctant to drop a xeon in case it was worse, Getting more tempted every day thou
The Westmere Xeons are all the same stepping (B1).

Why have all the X58 people vanished now I need advice
Moved to x99
So if people are moving to X99 what are they buying and how much more powerful is it? I've been super happy with my Xeon but it seems like a crazy expense selling up, no? Got a P6TD with only 2/6 working RAM slots.
