You've just completely prove my point. Second hand clutch?
Wat![]()
Thanks you never said what car you have
I hate it when poor people can buy expensive stuff built for 'us' for the price of beans, it's just not right, 'they' should know 'their' place. People called Danny too, I mean, that's nearly as bad as Wayne, who'd EVER let someone named Wayne own ANYTHING expensive, it's far too council estate of a name FFS.
Is housey on drugs
I can see the logic of a cheap clutch on a £500 car that you're not going to keep long. It's simply not worth the risk otherwise/in a different scenario. But as I said, for most people driving/owning these cars these days at this price point, there's no telling what lurks under the bonnet. Might be OK but it's a risk.
certainly doesn't look like a vast bill to me in terms of running a car of that power.
Especially if you know people who can fit it, it certainly doesn't look like a vast bill to me in terms of running a car of that power.
Yet we already have someone in here saying they'd go for a second hand £250 item instead. Proving my point.

I always think that if you avoid being a total chav by fitting used parts and linglong tyres, but equally do a bit of research rather than running screaming to the main dealer, older, high powered cars such as these can make sense. I'll be putting my money where my mouth is with something similarly ruinous in the next year or so, and if it all goes horribly wrong you can all look back at this thread and laugh at me!
