To be fair you are buying an old M5 for 15k. I don't think you have got far enough if you have had to wait this long to be able to afford one of these.

Don't forget this was a 80k car when new and they are no doubt pretty shagged now and will without a doubt throw you up some massive bills.

I'm not saying I'm extremely wedged like our good friend Housey I'm just saying I like taking risks and it's allowed me to develop my life and career nicely this doesn't change with cars I've owned all sorts both good and bad but that's part of the fun I guess.

I've definitely not waited to afford one I just like the price and like Gibbo said it's an epic engine to at least experience!

15k will buy you a lot of smokes! Unless you can make that 15k back very fast, I would give it a miss myself to be honest.

Yea I never said I'd do it I'm as tight as they come I'd rather just have 3k a side if I don't use it great if I do then so be it

Some people will be buying a £15k M5 just to own one for only 6 months over the summer and then sell it on before winter and before any real depreciation or problems can arrive.

It happens with all "fast" cars which were fairly expensive new but have now dropped to reasonable levels. Some will be looked after and some will be short term thrashers.
