16 year old bullying a Syrian refugee with a broken arm, choking and waterboarding him

Bullying is terrible. Not as bad as the title of this thread, but up there.

Seemed to take it quite well but then I guess what else was he to do, the lad doing the bullying looks at least 50lbs heavier and towers over him.

Labelling it waterboarding is a bit extreme but nobody should be humiliated like that, whilst it can make some people stronger, in the long run, there are hundreds of thousands of adults who are screwed mentally because of bullying in their younger years.

I haven't read the whole thread, so sorry if someone else has already chimed in with this...

That is some of the tamest bullying I've ever seen. I saw worse than that everyday at school. It is NOT waterboarding, it's a splash of water in the face.

However, this kid is from Syria. That bully needs to be "educated" on the **** that kid has come from and try and pry some humility from his pea sized brain.

I am hoping the local council will be able to claim this refugee's newly acquired funding and put it to offset in some small way his ongoing costs.

As for the violence I have seen far more brutality down the local post office on pension's day. Gee, when I think back what I did to others, and they did unto me at school... Sir William Golding, eat your heart out ;)

Bully, the video game starring Chris Wilson and things that didn't happen.

Here is a demonstration of waterboarding:

Clearly the OP wanted drama by using certain words in the thread title to bait people.

The toilets were cleaner and far more salubrious, we wore smart uniforms and bullying could be as much viperish snobby comment as fisticuffs, although extreme violence was far from unknown. Plus I don't "do" video games, either as a consumer or a producer ;)

I just spent a few minutes reflecting on some of the things I and others did to fellow kids at school and what they did in return. We were really nasty little whatsits at times, I could spend a week writing apology letters in hindsight. I'll take at least two scars from school bullies to my grave, but hey, best years of our lives aren't they? :)

They're probably worried about the copycat effect, nail it on the head asap is the strategy. It was still symbolic of waterboarding even though tame the next time could be nasty.

Growing up in Victorian England any childhood not blighted by consumption or cholera is a favoured one. You did well sir, I doff my top hat to you.
