please explain as to why this is such a big thing when a new card come's out why everyone wants one ?

i for certain will wait at least a year for a new card.

I have no graphics card atm. I bought a new i7 build mid August and I've been holding out for the new cards since then. I've got a brand new 1400Euro PC sitting <3 feet from me and I can't use it yet. Roll on the 23rd
