The information i got i passed on to the OCUK community, the information i got wasnt fake or false, i was just passing on what i had been told by a ocUk employee
so next time you want to mouth off, TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Did you ever consider that the person on the phone might have had their wires crossed (happens a lot around launch dates) before shouting it from the rafters? It's just irresponsible.
Shouting it LOL, give me a break. I stated what was directly said to me. i couldnt give a rats *** if it was true of false, what was said i reported on these forums. if you dont like it then so be it i dont have to justify myself to you.
ok post count doesnt but when a newbie comes on the forums that have just registered this month and has 33posts and starts comeing out with loads of crap about me for no reason other than to get people mad then im gonna say something back ament i, i mean i have been around here for years and some new face comes on the forums and gives it this and that, im not putting up with it i mean who does he think he is (asking ocuk to ban me SHEESH) or saying im telling lies ect ect.....

Bah, I seem to remember my 4870 costing 200 inc VAT at release date. I won't be shelling out any more than 20 over that.
Just because they are under NDA doesnt mean they can't correct wrong info given by their staff.
After Virus post they could have simply said that a number of their staff on the phones don't have the 100% correct info at the moment and to wait until the NDA is lifted. That would have calmed people down about the October availability without breaking the NDA.

I have to agree NDA brake by a OCUK Employee if they are under one is fairly major and if I was an employer it would be grounds for dismissal.
Maybe the information given was purposely incorrect, who knows. All we know is nothing, nothing has been confirmed by AMD so this is all conjecture.
So all chill, I would love this 22-23 sept date to be true but we just have to wait and see.
