*****20% VAT CASH BACK OFFER*****

We plan to continue as normal for now. Once the plan to handle the chipset issue is finalised we will review how this affects the rebate.

We may have to handle it on a case by case basis. Obviously if we replace the boards purchased under the promotion then there is no reason why the rebate cannot be paid. Any customers going back to their place of purchase for a refund however would obviously not receive it.

MSI Reserve the right to change or withdraw this promotion at any time without notice dont like this whats the chances of them doing it.
hey Chippy, now do you understand why this term is present? ;)

It's been 5 weeks and 1 day since I had my email confirming they've received the form, the clock is ticking...

But it's likely they will process them as a large batch - or a number of batchs.
So email date is not the processing of your refund, just it's opening.
Add to that the whole chipset issue causing down time.

I'm sure ScottB will update us when the first set of cheques are issued/being raised.

Hi Guys,

The processing of this rebate has been temporarily put on hold whilst we sort out the Sandybrige exchange program.

I am sure that you can understand, Intel's little hiccup knocked the wheels off the majority of our plans and caused us some major headaches. We have had to put the rebate on the back burner so that we could concentrate on dealing with the exchange.
