Tyres seem to be having a huge effect, the top 11 are michelin so far

I know bridgestone had tracks last year that had similar advantages, but this does give reason to having only 1 manufacturer next year.

Shaping up to be an exciting race at the moment. Nice to see the toyota's doing well!

As it's now been shows I've unhidden the times. :D

Well done Toymota. Surprisingly fast.

M.Schumacher down in 14th...but tops the speed trap. Looks like the corners are the problems.
McLarens looking good. As are the Renaults. I am worried about the race pace of the Toyota's.

Still not a fan of the new rules.

Surely you mean 12th? :D

The harder Bridgestones on MS's car only start working after 8 laps, so new set and 2nd lap in qual means its not going to be quick. More of a race setup.

Although its going to be interesting to see how much fuel everyone will be running for the last session.

11th, Button = Button - 10

3hours 19mins to go until qual2 kicks off.

Race on ITV starts at 6:40am...will be getting up before then to get the qual2 times up here. :D

Will be hiding them as usual.

Is the qual 2 coverage anywhere on satellite TV? or can it be viewed on the web at all? I have heard ITV broadcast it live outside of the UK grrr.

IIRC its on one of the digital radio channels, but nothing on the TV due to broadcasting rights.

I would like to see Albers do well, I loved him in DTM, now he has his chance to prove himself. Hope he finishes this time, dropped out on his debut race, must have been a gutter, was for me anyways.

Toyota are looking pretty good this year. Better than BAR. Mind you, I wonder if their race pace will drop off again.
Button really was stuck between a rock and a hard place it seems as Williams haven't been too impressive either.

I wonder how many engines will fail this race?? :)

Ohhh... I see Mindardi were once again the mouthpiece of 'The Other Nine'. How long will it be before one of the big boys stabs them in the back.

Rubens is on the soft bridgestones, i cant help feel that they will be bald before the end of the race, especially in the heat.

He is always on the softer Bridgestones - so theoretically should be faster in qualy, but as usual always ends up behind MS, I think even the soft Bridgestones are quite hard!

I wish to register a complaint!!!!
Ello...Miss??

On F1.com it says that Button had an engine change...he obviously hasn't as he's still 9th.

Nice and accurate considering it's the official F1 web site.
