Hope they don't pull out, looking forward to it nonetheless.
This is the first race of any kind I'll have ever been to, I'll take my camera and see if I can get any good photos

Well lets see how this Michelin (oops we 'made a mistake' - now we want to bring in some new tyres) saga plays out. Either way, unless Michelin provide some harder & faster compound for the race, which seems unlikely, it should be fairly straight forward for the Ferraris to fly.

Well, although the grid does promise an interesting race, the whole Michelin tyre issure could overshadow it

. A couple of the teams have said they aren't worried about the tyres (McLaren) but I don't know if they are just playing any problems down, or are genuniely soft enough on their tyres for it not to be an issue over race distance.

From what I could tell, even Mclaren (one of the lightest on tyres), had JPM complaining of tyre wear after a fairly moderate stint. So it will be interesting.

As Alonso said, they will never Boycott the race. Presumably Michelin will be able to race a new set of tyres with the relevant permissions and I suppose Bridgestone will hope the Spanish tyre is slower then the one Michelin intended for the US. Only time will tell.

Theres no way in a month of Sundays that they'd cancel the race... it would cost an extortionate amount of money. It would probably cost less to pay the Bridgestone runners off to let them allow Michelin runners to change tyres.......

They'll reach some sort of agreement tonight (meeting with all the team principles and Bernie) that the Michelin runners will be able to change to the new tyre set if required. There's going to have to be some sort of sweetner in it for the Bridgestone runners though

They should make them pit during the race for tyres, just tyres, no fuel. Only fair way of doing it I can see.
