when was the last time they investigated and took no action

Never. Even when they decide to drop the matter they can't help but ask for some money from the team principle for the time it took them to investigate it :D They charge about €1,000 per minute of investigation time :p

So what are they investigating? The way Lewis didn't really give back the place so much as line himself up perfectly to get Kimi on the next corner?

This investigation might revolve around the first incident when LH cut the corner, or a few seconds later when KR barged into LH going around Le Source

I wonder if they would have investigated the situation when KR rear ended LH... as that could have easily spun LH around or punctured his tyre...

Massa didn't sound too impressed with Raikkonen doing a move on him at the beginning of the race did he?

I've got to ask, when don't Ferrari contest a McLaren win

(and unfortunately, when the race stewards investigate something it always seems to swing Ferrari's way...)

Don't be silly it's ferrari international assistance to the rescue.

it certainly sounds like the LH overtaking off the track, which he clearly gave back..

and why isn't KR being investigated for his run down the escape route on the straight. where he did it on purpose and clearly gained massive amounts of ground on LH.

KR did plenty of dodgy stuff too... he went waaaay wide and got much better traction than LH had on the actual track. Then he rear ended LH... Then KR spun it and then KR stacked it.

KR did more wrong than LH.

KR should be given 10 place grid penalty for next race. (although I don't actually want that but really if this decision goes either way it has to end on KR's door step)

Actually looking at the replay I don't see a problem with it, Lewis let him back through a full car length and then just beat Kimi under breaking.

Thing is ok, hamilton was dodgy cutting the corner, but he left him back infront.

Anyway a minute later hamilton messed up and ends up on the grass, raikkonen goes past him but as hes exiting the corner he spins it. So raikkonen was back in position 1 but lost it again through no fault of hamilton so how can they dispute the win i dont know!?!?!

Good the press conference guy got it in there to say LH gave the place back and then retook it. All about setting perception with the FIA when it comes to these "stewards decisions"!

I think this all hinges on telemetry data off Hamiltons right foot.
Had he lifted off? Or did he simply get poorer traction out of the corner which could be interpreted as lifting off... we dont know.
