Clutching at straws now mate lol ;)

No no mate... to be honest, Id be content with the results as they are...
Ferrari will almost certainly back Massa and order Raikonnen to play point man for Massa...
Kovalainnen is rarely in the frame so shouldnt give Raikonnen any trouble...

If they mess up the results they will bring Raikonnen back into contention most likely... I dont want that :D

The thing is with a team supporting one driver is it makes no difference to how they perform. At the end of the day they will back Massa due to his consistency but that doesnt mean he will suddenly get a better car.

If they award any punishment to Hamilton then surely the same has to be awarded to Kimi.

Kimi is pretty much out of the title running barring any strange events like Hamilton and Massa getting kid-napped :p

No, but he will probably get the pick of race strategy within the team now....and since most races turn on that these days it ought to be a big help if they do that.

Yes but you have to remember... you have two competitive Ferrari drivers Vs 1 Mclaren one.

So lets take todays situation... had Ferrari been supporting Massa almost certainly KR would have slowed down ever so slightly to back Hamilton up a bit to let Massa catch up... its in Ferraris advantage...

On the same note they also wont get magical race strategies either. I understand the reasoning for backing one driver over another but it rarely changes things on the race track.

Im sorry but if KR had backed off at all LH would have left them both for dead.

When I say backed off I dont mean literally take your foot off the pedal but drive defensively.
I.e. get the Mclaren within your turbulent air and let him suffer as a result...
Very dooable and achievable as has been done in the past.
And dont forget.. it was Raikonnen that was quicker in the first two stints of the race by nearly 6 second gap. So Raikonnen had the speed to control the race.

And Massa getting into Lewis's turbulent air wouldnt make a difference. your argument is flawed.

Yes and no, depends whether Hamilton would get passed. Which I imagine he would have at Spa. Other tracks though, who knows. If Hamilton got passed Kimi would have picked up the pace again and kept with him.

Mute point anyway, I don't believe Kimi will do a huge amount of help Massa anyway.

Garbage. Maybe in Hungary, Mangy Bore. Not today.

Kimi isnt doing a lot to help himself currently, let alone Massa. I think he has had enough.
