2005 showed the gulf in class between michael and rubens
when the car package was not so good rubens was nowhere
michael proved as he already had proved he can get the best from the package he has

I think you are seriously overating Villeneuve. He wasnt "that" good and definitely not in the same league as MS. His father was though. ;)

totally agree
jacques was not all that good in fact as p head said he did his very best to hand the title away such was his car advantage over michael

Every point counts to the lower teams. Possibly more so to the lower teams than the higher up teams.
Not only the teams, I think there are also drivers that get a bonus for every point they win.

I haven't seen or investigated the Glock incident but it looks like he did overtake when there was a yellow flag but only because he was so much faster due to his tyres.

The idea of having an online highlights video is great. However, those highlights are a little too glamorised.

I saw the 2007 summary and most of the time, I didnt know whether it was a celebrity/fashion show or it was a F1 summary.

Not really for F1 fans.

Patrick Head and Villeneuve just never got on. JV and Williams did though. Patrick Head didn't like to be proved wrong and JV proved him wrong on set up, after that Head didn't want a lot to do with him.

Yeah, watched all those highlight clips this afternoon. Great stuff. Love the extra sounds you hear from crashes from the garages. Wish the TV coverage would broadcast that added atmosphere.

good comment on there:

"Again we see there's one rule for the red cars and another for everyone else. How can stewards justify giving Glock a 25 sec. penalty for overtaking webber under yellows, and not hand out some kind of penalty to Kimi for the same offence on Lewis? Although he had retired, the usual punishment would be a 10 place grid demotion at the next race, but as the next race is Monza, Ferrari's home race, the chances of that happening are as good as I have of winning this years title..."
