Last race of the season, engine is on its second race.
He only needs to bring it 5th or more home.
I would run it on a really conservative setting at practice. Then on the first stint run it quite aggressively and the 2nd or 3rd stint turn the engine down. Hope for the best in the end.

Exactly. lets hope lewis doesn't go all out for the win, it's more important to win the championship than this race. I hope he does win the race, but in the end he needs 5th or better. If he doesn't need to, I hope he doesn't push the car or himself like he usually does.
 
i dont think he will push too hard for the win. as long as he is in a podium possition ie has a 2 car margin to the championship win, i think he will sit there :) He has shown restraint in the past this season. :)
 
Thats very true lol. But i think he will show some tomoro. He has a lot riding on it :D. Im half hoping he somehow finds himself in something like 8th-9th and fights his way to 5th. :D i do want him to win but i wouldnt mind watching him earn it the hard way lol would make for great viewing :D
 
Lewis Hamilton believes he is similar to Ayrton Senna and has revealed that he has based his approach to his career on the Brazilian three-time champion.

Hamilton, who can win the title at Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix, says he has admired Senna since childhood.

"I've always felt I had a connection with him, that we're somehow similar," he told Motor Sport magazine.

"I do crazy things that others wouldn't do and I feel like I have an edge, too. I feel I share something with him."

I don't see anything wrong with that. He admired and based his career on senna. Nothing wrong with that.

he does stuff mainly overtaking which other people wouldn't, which senna did. same again very true and nothing wrong with that. You only have to look at this season and all the hoo-harring over lewis overtaking to see how spineless most f1 drivers are these days.

Apparently it took a lot of testing to get it to work and pass the helmet safety requirements of SNELL, so I doubt we'll see a different version any time soon.
 
I think they will fuel Hamilton short to try and ensure he gets on the front row and keeps out of danger at the start, maybe his biggest risk. Doesn't matter if its the wrong strategy for the win, its probably the right strategy for the championship.

My view at least.
