I haven't followed the first 30mins. I'm guessing they are running heavier combined with the mixed track conditions.

Another rumour, once the race reaches 52 laps it becomes an official result. Supposedly Massa is going to be sent out on a long second stint to get him into the lead by that point. Then the Brazilian crowd are going to invade the track

yep, never saw the whole point of that. Surely it just defeats the object of manufactuers making engines last.

Its to actually promote people running on Friday to give the fans something to watch. If they had to use the race engine, then the teams would likely run as little as possible on Friday. No good putting on 2 90 min sessions if people only do 10 mins to save their engines.
