I'm already excited for next season.
Sigh, it's taking ages!!!
It's been 5 days out of 5 months, and you're struggling already?

If you want an easy example of how difficult it is, look at Jordan. In '99, they had a fair-to-middling chance at nicking the drivers title with Frentzen until fairly late in the year, and thus concentrated on car development for that year rather than the next one. They ended '99 3rd, and slipped to 6th the next year not even scoring 1/3rd of their previous points tally.
New FIA Deputy President for Sport announced, and it isn't Jean Todt.
Would someone please check on rpstewart, given his comment in this post?
f1.com said:Force India have reorganised their management structure ahead of the 2009 season, with chief technical officer Mike Gascoyne and team principal Colin Kolles both being sidelined. Team owner Vijay Mallya will take over from Kolles, assisted in his expanded role by Director of Force India, Robert Fernley.
Is Mike Gascoyne the world's worst person to employ or something?? He seems to have an inability to hold down a job for more than about 18 months.Madness. Hope Gascoyne gets a job somewhere else
Needs to be someone more important than me to do that. Dunno who decided to add it in the first place....rp any chance of removing the poll now? Still amazed how people are continuing to vote

Sure he hasn't made the strides up the grid that he did with Toyota but under his stewardship Force India have really closed the gap to the rest of the field. You do have to wonder if this is a precursor to a McLaren assistance deal which will likely see the influence of the Technical Director diminish.
EDIT: Didn't spot the official termination of the Ferrari deal before typing the above. Gascoyne's probably had a falling out with Mallya over that
Q. Was the viking funeral your car had at the end of the Brazilian Grand Prix, the best moment of the season for you?
JB: It only took one match as well! Amazing. Last year they taped a lighter in my car. They didn't do it this year, they didn't need to either. It caught fire on its own - but it was a fitting end to a great season.
It caught fire, and then somebody's car rolled back into mine, which rolled back into Lewis's, who was trying to get out of his car. I was thinking: 'Okay' this could be interesting.

Interesting - Raikkonen doesn't look particularly much like a fighter.
